Also known as Yellow Passionflower or Yellow Passion Vine.

Yellow Passion Flower is a climbing or trailing vine with dainty greenish-yellow flowers that are followed by purple or black berries. The leaves are tender green and shallowly lobed. The flowers are only 1” across but they are intricate and abundant. Yellow Passion Flower is not nearly as aggressive spreader as Passiflora incarnata. It will also not damage the structure it uses to climb.

According to wildflower.org ‘This is a major food plant for several species of butterfly larvae. The pollen of this species is the only known larval food stuff of the oligolectic (and possibly monolectic) Passionflower Bee, Anthemurgus passiflorae (RESLIT 2840).’
