Penstemon tenuis (Gulf Coast Penstemon)
$ 12.98
Also known as Brazos Penstemon.
Gulf Coast Penstemon is the perfect addition to any informal garden. It produces lovely purple bell-shaped flowers in the spring. It fits in nicely in perennial beds and borders, and pairs well with Yellow Columbine and native sedges. Under favorable conditions, it will reseed freely.
Gulf Coast Penstemon does best in part sun and bright shade, and tolerates poor drainage. It works well in meadow and cottage gardens as well as naturalized areas.
