Muhlenbergia lindheimeri (Big Muhly)
$ 24.98
Big Muhly is a striking ornamental native grass that can be used for screening or as an accent. It is the showiest in the fall, showing off its attractive plumes.
Big Muhly is drought-tolerant once established and needs a full sun location. It prefers dry sites, but can tolerate more moisture as long as the soil is well-draining. It goes dormant in the winter and should not be trimmed until late winter or early spring. It provides protection for overwintering butterflies and other wildlife.
