Physostegia virginiana (Fall Obedient Plant)
$ 12.98
Fall Obedient Plant is an attractive perennial with lovely snapdragon-like flowers that are frequently visited by bees. It thrives in moist soils, but it also can spread aggressively through rhizomes when growing in ideal conditions. We find that it is much easier to curb its tendency to wander if watering only as needed. It is an adaptable plant that can handle various sun exposures and soil conditions, including poor drainage. The name refers to how individual flowers will temporarily stay in whichever position you put them in. Fall Obedient Plant as the name suggests, blooms in late summer through fall. It attracts bees and hummingbirds.
