Scarlet Penstemon is a small, bushy penstemon with showy magenta blooms. It is an eye-catching prairie perennial that has its place in micro-prairies, meadows and perennial gardens. It also makes a lovely cut flower.
Scarlet Penstemon provides nectar for butterflies and hummingbirds. It can be deadheaded once finished blooming or allowed to re-seed.
