Pincushion Daisy is a slender, clumping perennial. Its produces reddish-brown disk flowers (hence the ‘pincushion’ in the name) with yellow to orange or red rays. Sometimes the flower had is ray-less. The flowers are fragrant and the can be used in flower arrangements.
Adequate moisture and deadheading encourages prolonged flowering. Pincushion Daisy works well in pocket prairies, wildflower meadows, perennials gardens or borders, naturalized areas.
