Texas Bluebells feature large showy blooms and blue-gray foliage. They provide blooms in the summer, when a lot of other plants look less than attractive. Bluebells prefer moist, sandy or loamy soils in full sun. In the wild they are found in moist soils in prairies, open or disturbed areas, especially in areas adjacent to streams and tanks.
They act either as annual or short lives perennial.
