Calylophus berlandieri ssp. pinifolius (Texas Primrose)
$ 13.98
Also knows as Berlandier's Sundrops, Square-bud Primrose, Sundrops.
Texas Primrose is a drought tolerant low-growing perennial with large bright yellow flowers. It needs good drainage and sunny exposure but is not fussy otherwise. It does well in sandy or rocky soil. Deadheading (removing spent blooms) prolongs the blooming period. It can be cut back periodically to maintain a neater appearance.
Texas Primrose is an excellent rock garden plant that also works well as walkway border and in perennial, naturalized or pollinator gardens.
